January 7.  It rained after this image had been shot.

Z6 -- 50mm f/1.8S

My gripe is the camera is slow to respond from a dormant standby to actually taking the shot, takes too long missing the moment, and the focus box should be in the middle not in some corner of the screen.
Anyone aware of a solution, the camera fails as a streetshooter this way.

It's fast glass, which is always welcome ;)

Should be nice on the Z6. It is a pretty compact lens for a 200mm-f/3.0

Well it is not as fast as our DSLR, but if the release is slightly pressed when you start to lift the camera, I think it is better than expected. The moving of the AF box, seems to be related to the camera bouncing on our clothes. Did a test, having the camera on a table, then the box did not move. I did also see the moving of the af box on my first outing with the camera.

You can set several function buttons to give AF "box" centering. However, this really should not be necessary as the AF points ought to stay put.

An IR (false-colour) detail with the 28-45mm f/4.5 Zoom-Nikkor on my full-spectrum Z6. This is just a small part of the frame. The vintage zoom lens is excellent for this kind of shooting as it has no hot spots and is pretty sharp as well.

Very nice false color Birna!  Interesting and something I may try in the future....
