Ice landscapes, sort of ...
« on: December 25, 2019, 15:48:20 »
Morning ice landscapes, with the 200/4 AI-S on the Df. The sun quickly changed the color and texture.
Last one with the D500 and 500/5.6 PF

Beautiful captures, Bruno!  Especially the first two images do look like landscapes.

Beautiful, specially the first one for me. It looks like a landscape from a plane

Frost roses on a window pane? I assume the 200mm lens was used with some extension.

On the roof of the car, hence the black background, shot from a window on the first floor. For once, I was active early enough to notice it :)

Thank you all for the kind comments.

2nd serie with the 500/5.6 PF on the D500. The first one makes me think of a wave in a snow storm.

Thanks, Francis. That’s what attracted me, and the old drawing look seen in 19th century books, like Jules Verne.

Nature's curves and textures can be so lovely. Great captures of fleeting beauty.

amazing details on frozen window panes. very good glass and camera to bring out the 3D effect!

Thank you, Jack, Frank, Luc.

Frank, actually it is not a window pane, it is the roof of my car which is not flat and was much more tangent to the rising sun than a window usually is. Texture and colors were changing constantly till all melted away.
