That's a lot of reach.  Good results?
It looks promising, VR is outstanding, I can shoot hand held at 1/50 @ 500mm and get sharp images, after getting past the weight, it is easy to use,  and glad to find out that it did not need AF tuning on my d800 as every other lens that I own needed it.

Ah, similar taste for vivid colours. I've only been to Mexico once, as a tourist to Playa del Carmen.

Nice, I like silhouetted trees....!

Any thought to crop out the roof tops or you were intentionally keeping them in?
