Dawn after the storm
« on: October 13, 2019, 03:04:21 »
Oct. 13.  Shot after the typhoon Hagibis had left.  It brought insane amount of rain and caused lots of floods.  The tranquility might have felt rather dooming than soothing...

Hearing about this storm on the radio, I am impressed to see all the pylons still standing.
The colors and atmosphere is as usual from you.
Hope all is well.

Thank you, Bent, for your concern.  Many power poles and trees were got down when the other typhoon attacked Japan last month.  This time, most of the damages were caused by the heavy rain.

Akira, very happy that you and yours had no damage.  I watched the Grand Prix on TV and no sign of storm or damage.  It must have moved through very quickly.
All the best,
Tom

Thank you, Tom, for kind words.  The Suzuka circuit is located pretty much away from the path of the Hagibis typhoon.  Its insane amount of rain caused severe damages to the eastern part of the main island of Japan.
