I have been referring to Imaging Resource website especially for its accurate measurement of shutter lags which is unique and coincides very well with my feelings. I like the camera with quick shutter response, and the data that the website has been offering is one of the major factors to select the next purchase.
I appreciate the efforts of Mr. Dave Etchells, the founder, and his staff for their many years of dedication of offering useful information.

Sad to see this happen. When I was first checking out digital P&S camera models back in 2003, there were four sites I was using for reviews - Imaging Resource, Digital Photography Review, Steve's Digicams, and one other one I can't recall anymore.

A pity. I found it informative, and contributed myself with some user reviews.

Bill and Airy, thank you for commenting.
Yes, it is sad not only because one of the prominent review site is closed down, but also it may indicate the move of the focus (no pun intended) from stills to videos.
