Very nice, Birna !!
Looks good. So the 50/1.8s without an adapter is a different kind of experience?

It is. Very early to say how much but the new one looks like it is everything it promises. Time will tell if it is better or is more important the differences. Looking at the images taken with the 50 1.4g...they remind me why I like that lens too.

Ah, Birna...

Today I exchange my 50mm 1.4g and some money for a brand new 50mm 1.8s. First lens with no adapter in the Z6. I´m late to the party but still have to say impressed so far by the performace, AF in both photo and vídeo. I was using the former for the last two days to say goodbye and have to confess that it was hard to part with. Happy problems.

  Z6, 50mm 1.8s fully open

Yea!

Intense!

German and European law are so restrictive ... and so are the rules of this thread ... I could fill a museum with the stuff I took this morning on assignment ... so humane, so revealing, so beautiful ... but I am not allowed to . sad . but . true . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8MO7fkZc5o

Will you like to try it in a couple of weeks ?  :)

I probably bring my own 50/1.8Z to The Hague as well. It's a very nicely performing optic.

October 27.

Very similar image posted to the "Clouds" thread.  This version offers the bottom outline of the sun more clearly.
