Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo

Just showing the impressive beak on these beautiful birds. This one was busy tearing apart a Banksia tree after the large grubs that they go after mostly in Spring, the grubs can be up to 6" long. They will dig a massive hole to get to these grubs.

Scientific name: Calyptorhynchus funereus

Very nice framing and image.
However, again my eye is disturbed by the artifacts from processing the image, halos etc are too dominert IMHO, sorry if i'm too direct!

Your style, high ISO and post processing, is very similar to Ann's wildlife images. I would suggest you look at some of her images and find some where she writes how she does PP, shes often gets away with high ISO strong PP in a very nice way  8)
