I absolutely love it! And I echo all those above.

this is a very well executed idea, ending in a extrordinary picture
how long was your time frame to take these pictures (think about the sun)
and how crowded is this place

Thanks everyone for the comments, Thomas, I live in Shrewsbury UK a smallish market town 65 miles North West of Birmingham 20 miles from the Welsh border. The town centre is basically retail and admin use therefore there is a more leisurely approach in getting to work. I am retired my wife is not ! I walk with her to the school where she teaches then to keep these old joints moving I continue walking. I stopped at this location for a breather, whilst looking around I noticed the various shadows on the brick wall, I took a few shots and moved on. Looking at the images at home I though initially they looked like someone had spray painted the shadow shape on the wall, a sort of changeable graffiti image. Returning to the location when the sun was out at about 9 I spent about 1 hour approx collecting these images of the commuters and shoppers, as the location is on part of my regular walk I took other images as a back up at other times. I processed the individual images until I had a selection of about 40 to choose from, I was then stuck on how to present the images, it would be impossible financially to print and frame the images so I thought I would try the collage method which is what I posted.
I holiday in Brittany northern France, at a small resort there is a bench which is the only one that has a perfect view of a large beach, as such the bench is always occupied, sitting on another row of benches behind I was able to observe the occupants over a period of 3 weeks so that has made a second collage recording what I observed, body language is such an interesting thing to observe, older couples animated, chatting like they were youngsters, married couples who sat with a large gap between them, solo occupants etc, all this entertainment for free 😀
