very nice, john. I love my Nikkor 1.8/20 and my Nikkor 1.4/105

but I know that both the ART 1.4/20 and the ART 1.4/105 are better

And they are cheaper

but they are much heavier

Thanks Frank,  Most 1.4 lenses, with exception of the 50mm range, are larger and heavier. The 20/1.4 ART is comparable with the 17-35/2.8

Very good light  small and light 20mm's are the f/2.8 Ai-S and f/4  K-Ai.    I hope to find a nice 105/1.4 one time
