Aguinaldo, the lens is already added to the online catalog of Nikon website with the usual full descriptions, data and some not-so-fancy sample images. But I've seen no news since the announcement of the its release.

I have seen some comments from that nikon guy "Richie" I think is called, talking about its goodness but without images as it was a pre-production sample. I guess some more waiting.

The lens is on its way. So hopefully I can share my experiences soon. I can’t compare it with the G-lenses since I don’t have. I once had a 1.4 but replaced it with the PC-E lens. So my plan is to compare it with the 85mm PC-E lens. A lens that has really impressed me for portrait work. But first a trip to Iceland where I will bring the lens with me as well.
