Provence June 2019

A trip on "Les routes de la lavande", well only a small part of it from Nyons.
To day we saw lavender and wine together.

Francis we hope that your trip will have more enjoyable temperatures.
It was not a joy to leave the car for taking pictures, but it must be done
I guess only tourists was out in the sun.
We did see some people working in the lavender fields, must have been hot.

The last two days we just went into the town, to see it before the market and during the market on Thursday.
We pass a Citröen garage everyday, we had to look, as they have more old cars than in Denmark.
We once had a Méhari. Now we have a more modern Citroën.

The car has not been in use for the last two days, we have been walking in the heat
The town of Nyons has a lot of narrow streets, and old houses.
The town get completely transformed on every Thursdays when there is a big market.

Our last day in Nyons. Tomorrow we start the journey home, with stopovers in Strassburg and Celle.
I had to see if it was possible to get more pictures of the vultures, so we drove towards Rémuzat.
This is what I got, maybe the high temperature don't make it better

We met a lot of dutch speaking people, especially when we visited a vineyard 
At the winery we bought a lot of wine
We have the special Nyons olives and oil as well.
