Thank you Carl and Bruno, yes but the schedule did not include the heat wave

Yesterday I did my best as a bird photographer, improvements are needed, but I did see the vultures.
The evening sky was spectacular but we did not get any rain.

Thanks for the nice comments.
Today we vent to Gordes, as the city should be very nice, and placed on a mountain side.
The heat did not make it comfortable to be outside for long, so not many pictures today.

Today the our trip was to Gordes.
I did a pano of the city to show its placement.
It was not only me and Gunver suffering in the heat, a young guy filled his hat with water, to cool him down.
Inside Gordes the building is very close to each other.
The cat was guarding the turist office

All pictures taken with my Df and 28mm f2.8 AiS

The cliffs surrounding the Rémuzat village are a short drive from Nyons, and probably the best area in Provence for observing vultures. Is that the place you visited for vultures?

Yes it was just outside of Rémuzat I saw the vultures first.
But the picture is from Saint-May, a bit closer to Nyons.

Nice picture of the vulture! I hope you can stand the heat down there - here it has cooled down quite a bit.

The best place to watch the vultures is from the top of the mountain just west of Remuzat. The access is by a small road leading up from St. May.

Yes we get used to it and it is getting a bit cooler, now only 35 degrees

Standing in the sun for photographing the birds is difficult, but may give it a try again.

To we only went a short trip to see lavender and wine field.
But then there are all these villages.
Filenames indicates the place image taken, I got my geotagging to work.
I use and old i-gotU, bought many years ago, and to software only partially works with my Mac.
