the prices of kidneys have fallen a bit in the international black market  :o :o :o

As am I... But I've been telling myself to stop looking at M8.2 used.  I know it's not the same thing, but I'd love to play with a modern rangefinder.

The last rangefinder I've used is my Yashica E5000.

There last rangefinder I've used is my Yashica E5000.

the best thing is it will drive prices down  :o :o :o to more realistic levels (used Ms)

Leica must have quite a boat load of leftover M (240). This M-E is merely a re-purposed M 240. Near as I can tell none of the new stuff from the M10 is incorporated.
I’m very happy shooting my M8.2 and M9-P. They both work flawlessly which I suppose is an endorsement for the longevity of the digital M.
