Amsterdam, a "classic" view from the ferry across river IJ. On the left filmmuseum EYE and on the right the Amsterdam Tower.

Nikon Z6 + Nikkor Z 24-70mm

Great overview, Luc.

Attended a local PRIDE parade yesterday. Unfortunately, I'll have to drop the big event in Oslo next Saturday, as I'll be on a trip down the souther coastline to collect and photograph aquatic plants by then. The local event was interesting and colourful on its own - of 5000 inhabitants, more than 3000 joined the parade :) A massive turnout. A few drops of rain were insufficient to curb the enthusiasm.

Photography composition rule #1, one does not place the subject in the center of the frame
DSC_8786-Edit by b j, on Flickr

What is considered to be the subject here? The plant, the excavator, the color scape, the layering?

A happy dog
She was miserable yesterday with arthritis - medicine seems to be working

Good she is not suffering anymore and you are still together...

Great IR image in the passionate color!

Flower from my backyard

Glad your dog is feeling better now.

The rendition of the flower looks delicate in terms of both color and sharpness.

As you may know, Capture One was updated from 12.0.4 to 12.1 a few days ago.  The control panel was moved from the left side to the right side (just like Adobe CC or LR),  According to Phase One, the processing of X-trans images is improved.

Konstanz, Germany. Taken last week with Olympus PEN-F and 17mm lens.
Is that OK? Or is the rule to post only photos taken on the same day or the day before?

Composition and color/processing all good choices here.
