Excellent utilisation of a full-frame fisheye.

Very nice composition. I just would crop a bit of the right side to make the flag more centralized.

Amazing image.  The timing and the framing are perfect!

Thank you all so much for your generous comments.

Mr. Fish can be so much fun to use — on the right subject.
I didn't know I needed one until I saw the magnificent specimen which Erik brought on Safari to Africa back in 2009.

Ann ,

it's a great composition , in every aspect and in every axis !
The curved lines of the buildings make a perfect and dramatic frame for the stressed flag !
Thanks for showing to us !

Dramatic and dynamic lines, movement-timing and color contrast. Very nice walkaround the image after taking the initial hit.

Do you care to share wich lens did you use here?

I am so glad that you both liked it.

I shot this with the little Nikon AF Fisheye NIKKOR 16mm F/2.8D. It's a very small lens and can slip easily into a pocket.

I do de-Fish images which I have shot with it sometimes but this one was processed at full-Fish with Lens Profile Corrections turned off.
Exposure was: 1/5000, f/11, ISO 10000 (That flag was really whipping around in the wind.)

Yep: ISO 10,000!
Or so the EXIF says.

That was shot on a D3S so you can understand why I considered that a D5 was an "essential" purchase the moment that Nikon announced them.
