A perennial in the Malvaceae (Mallows Family). No tree.

Fons was helping you, not me

your abstract shot works very well for me

Thanks Frank - and the right time of year for Cuckoos too
I like yours too, but given the choice of some Lemon Meringue, I'd prefer a plate of it (home-cooked), than a bunch of them ;)

My other experiment this week, with 105mm AFS f2.8

You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

(full-spectrum) Z6, Fisheye-Nikkor 8-15, 87C filter. The conversion by LifePixel is not entirely to satisfaction thus I have to make do with the "left overs".

You see them all over the place, for example, in Amsterdam.

There's a great feel to this image Birna
I don't know if there was any snow still around when you took it, but it makes me think of a snowy landscape in the deepest recesses of a dream.

Thanks. No more snow as this is the lowlands, and our last snow disappeared several weeks ago. However, an extended lake surface will impart much of the same effect for long exposures ....
