Thank you for commenting. This a yearly event at my hometown. It is a pilgrimage to the local park with the image of a virgin Mary, patron and protector of the city. Big history there. I´m happy you like the colors!

Night fence. Trying out the new AF update. Z6 and 58mm 1.4 fully open. Low light levels

Enormous deposits of pollen from conifers (Norway Spruce, Scots Pine) now clog water surfaces and beaches all over my neighbourhood. I visited this pristine forest lake to do a test run with my "Yellow submarine", a Gladius Mini2 ROV, but found it well-nigh impossible to launch the ROV anywhere without smothering it with the yellow, sticky goo. Did a few overview shots with my AW1 instead. Be glad that we don't do odour photography as the smell of the decaying pollen is very unpleasant :(

I'm still on a steep learning curve with new camera body, PP s/w and now lens
This was taken on the first trip out with a 16-80mm which is taking some getting used to

This is what we call a cuckooflower, Silene dioica one of four different cuckooflowers.

Thanks Frank - and the right time of year for Cuckoos too
I like yours too, but given the choice of some Lemon Meringue, I'd prefer a plate of it (home-cooked), than a bunch of them ;)

My other experiment this week, with 105mm AFS f2.8

Interesting. Is that an annual 'problem' ?

So, May 22 is a day of the flowers?
