Sorry for my illiteracy, what does the text on the last one say?
Sorry for mine too Zang - I do not know the alphabet. Just guessing - I looked up Japanese and it has some resemblance. It would make sense it spells Tivoli.
Added: Tivoli has a Japanese tower from around 1900.

A fragment of a manhole cover from the city where lived until a year ago and soon will be moving back to.

The local monastery church is the burial place of three kings and archbishop Absalon who had the first fortress built in the city that became Copenhagen. He was known as the founder of Copenhagen, but archaeological excavations from around 2008 apparently tells a different story.

Sorø must have been an island at one point? I havent been to Copenhagen since awhile but Dk is now completely opening up, excellent!

Correct Fons. The city name comes from Sor Ø (or simply Sor). The area was surrounded by lakes and bogs when a monastery was built in 1142. There are 3 lakes near the city today.
Is it your son that lives in Copenhagen? Yes, it's nice to get rid of restrictions soon despite the high level of infections ... let's see how it works.

Thank you guys for sharing the stories. You are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I even did not know how to type Sorø in google map so I just copied it from here :)

Thanks Zang - glad it makes a manhole cover a bit more interesting when put into context with a small story ;D  Yes, it's a nice little city in rural surroundings with lakes and forests, but Denmark is quite flat so I'm always impressed by mountain landscapes :)
