Stepping outside the same old, same old . . . .

 . . . or trying to. Once a style becomes a habit, it may be time to look at things differently, and so I'm trying to be a little more experimental; less dependent on the formulae which became a style which became a habit. But it's hard; like trying to learn a new language.

Just a moment . . . . maybe you were so bored with my landscapes that you couldn't wait for me to try something different?

I'm sure whatever style you pursue will produce outstanding pictures which the viewer will enjoy and admire.

Oh, Dave, I would not complain even if you stay in your comfortable zone to make landscapes that will NEVER become boring.  I just can't but admire your desire to get out of the box!
