Jack, I tink you know how they look like  ;)
if not, come and visit me at Bauma in München - I´ll be there the whole week

btw. this Swiss exhibition has been without the big players,
so no chance to make a picture of a "wow" loader or excavator

Number 20 is really very nice. The ambivalence of the girl interacting with the gulls. Prima!

I'm fond of dozers. On my current project biggest equipment so far have been the demolition excavators, but the 300 ton crawler cranes should show up in May to start steel erection. Even with big machines a surprising amount is still done by hand.

25 years ago, the 14th century bridge (Kapellbrücke) was nearly burned down:  :(

@ Jack:  dozers is nothing for Europeans, we do not have the terrain to just move waste, but excavators for demolition and cranes, I am able to discuss with you - I was in demolition, quarry  and tunneling business, am now in soil improovement and amphibious excavators

@ MFloyd: they still restore quite a lot of pictures painted inside the bridge - a pity that this happened

Unfortunately, this is subject to a big debate, a lawyer from Luzerne offered CHF 2MM for making copies of the destroyed paintings. But the people voted it down.
