The local snow clearing crew speed past my house. Removing snow from the pavement and concomitantly filling the entrance of my driveway with hard-packed snow :(

Rodenstock 100mm f/1.6 Heligon XR, Z6. I had the ISO set too high (400) and maxed out the shutter speed at 1/8000. That lens certainly transmits a lot of light! Though Photo Ninja I was able to recover most of the blown white areas, however.

the Z6 seems to be a real winner. cool shot red/white

John and Paco, very different, very nice.  Spring hasn't yet made it to the Pacific NW, but today dawned bright and clear.  I hoped it would last, to see Mercury in the evening sky, but the clouds drifted back in by sunset and I had to make do with a view over the Sound at dusk.  Bainbridge Island across the water and the Olympics under cloud in the distance.  500 mm f/4 P ISO 1000 1/125 at f/5.6.

February 20

Familiar tulips this time with a 35mm f/1.4ai.

Lovely! I must take that lens out with me tomorrow and see if I can capture some plum blossoms.

February 21.
I like streetshots like these. The moon (I assume) is like the dot over the line in a I.
