What kind of adapter/extension did you use here, Sten?

Nice images Sten, think I have this lens in a drawer somewhere as well, maybe time to start looking for it :)
Cheers,

It’s the old Heligon in a 18-70 housing, chipped with your help. The lens is pushed so far back that I had to shave off some off some brass in the F-bayo. Am waiting for a focusing helicoid to arrive so I can get a more flexible use of the lens.

I see. Remember that contraption.

You might get the lens to focus to infinity with the proper helicoid. Putting a genuine Z mount on the rear will shorten the extension dramatically too. I purchased a handful of spare mounts and have used them for various adapters for my special 'exotics'. Still not satisfied with the helicoid for the 100/1.6 as it currently only will focus to about 3 m, but I know the underlying reason and the issue can be solved. All in due time.

I might have to consult you on the adapting issue when the Dremelin’ commences 😊

Lovely color in the first one, #1238.  Even looks good on the old laptop screen.
