That's a new building? It looks quit old style, in this shot, with the wires.

The office building with the address "Rabinstraße 8, Bonn, Germany" was built from 1994-97 following the plans of Krenz, Meier + Assoziierte. It was used as an educational center for the insurance group "Deutscher Herold", now "Zürich Versicherungen".

In 2016 it was sold to Corpus Siero Developers and rented back by Zürich till the end of 2019, when they will move to their new Headquarters in Cologne near the Central Station and the trade fair buildings, where the Photokina is located (Köln Messe/Deutz).

Starting in 2020 Corpus Siero wants to redevelop the wonderful building with lush roof gardens, huge indoor court and very nicely lit rooms as an Office/Residential mix which will sure not be on the cheap end of the market given its special architecture and prominent location.

(research done by me for you in 30 minutes. I am very interested in the history of my city, esp architecture)...

Thanks Frank.

Much appreciated.

Your photo reminded me of an older architectural industrial style, from the 1930's

Pretty impressed by the Nikon D7100.  Was able to get one at a very reduced price because of a broken card door.

1930ies is not possible, the materials and construction techniques were simply non existent
