Thanks a lot for the nice words, I am flattered.
Nikkor Shooter: thank you for the critique. I tried to play with the blacks indeed and must say I did not like so much some of the pictures when more detail was apparent in the dark zones. The light was quite contrasted in some areas of the markets, and I liked that, although it is a challenge to photograph. Of course, I am sure I could do better with these files!

Came back to your thread after my trip to Bangalore, are any of this images from Mysore ? I was expecting views from the palace

I rarely found images like these going so near to life without make up - f.e. the chicken slaugters
my fav is the electrical shop

Armando, in both series, the first 4 are from Bangalore and the others from Mysore. I took the express train (only two hours) and spent most of a week-end in Mysore. I did visit the palace and while I enjoyed it very much, I found it quite hard to photograph. A bit like Versailles. Getting the whole palace is uninteresting and actually requires to step back so much that it creates too much empty space. And then I did not have enough time to think more about that... I really wanted to spend more time in the markets! Let me check what I have and I will post a couple of pictures.
