I'm usually not asking people to crop their images to a significant degree. This is because that usually implies they haven't thought the photo composition through before the shot was taken.

However, with wildlife there is always more unpredictable action and a reassessment is more acceptable.

I think the visual impact of your image can be greatly enhanced by cropping the original. I leave it as a challenge to suggest how.

Bjorn, unfortunately this was already quite extensively cropped, probably from landscape orientation. Even more unfortunately I have lost the original. The cat was nearly 100m away, and it was not possible to get closer as the cat left within a couple of minutes of our arrival. I do know that the trunk of the tree was cropped away...

But I would love to see how you would do it? Thank you.

I had one idea in mind. But that won't preclude different approaches.

Try first for yourself. That is the way to learn.
