walk in the woods

The color, the blur effect and the composition fits very well together!

Love this passionate monochrome red!

The timing is perfect!

You make a rainy day very attractive Fons - like the composition and exquisite colors

the near dark mornings make for some interesting color rendering. Very nice shot

The last few days certainly show the depth and breadth of talent shared on NikonGear!

Fons, your abstract color in "walk in the woods" is surreal

Armando, "marathon" shows the extreme fitness of the runners as being natural and easy

Daniel, "by the creek..." is a lovely pastel rendering of a child's innocent enjoyment of a beautiful moment

Paco, "Before going to bed" beautiful abstract image from the refelctions on the water

Fons, "Rainy day" soft, subtle and simply beautiful

Frank, "Fence" a fun look at reflections in red

Everything gets better as we grow younger and thinner

I like the light in this image John, did you add light to the scene, or was the weaving machine already lit in this way?

Thanks Tim.  These are the original lights. However, the automatic matrix-metering of the camera makes a mix, so  in post I enhanced the dark and light areas a little bit.

I  considered to use spot metering, but it would make the darker areas black.
