Fran - the trouble with sheep is, they p*ss and sh*t everywhere, and they like roses and tulips and all sorts of garden plants, more than they like grass.   :( ;D

and the upside is that you can contain them with a mobile electric fence which is impossible with goats. And: The manure is good for your garden!

Excellent series David  .....the pose of the dog made me think of one of my favorite photographs by Josef Koudelka.

Don't bother with letting in the sheep, I like the grass as is. It helps create a slightly mystical foreground to the image of your house  .....nice.
