My apologies to Gaudí for showing this

I've never been so positively struck by a work of art like this building. Of course everybody knows it is the Sacred Family Cathedral of Barcelona.
I believe this lousy photograph nor any other picture could do justice to the beauty of it.
Took it today. I'm still overwhelmed by the vision of those towers lit by the sunset when I left the subway station.

Having never seen the building in person, I can only say that I like the distorted perspective, makes for an interesting, and surreal,  photo.

Barcelona is one of the places I enthusiastically want to visit in my life, and Sagrada Familia and other architectures designed by Gaudi are the very reason for that.

it is the only church I would go inside another (or more) time(s)
the light is phantastic, the working groups are fun to observe, it is Gaudis idea that  catches the visitors
and the luck that  this still works, really seems to get finished in some generations.
Maybe catholic robots will print the interior in 100 years 
A pity is, that Barcelona is dying from tourists, like Venice

Akira, I didn't care much for Antoni Gaudí until I saw this cathedral in person. It made my soul lighter and happier.
Now I know the guy was a genius.
This is the work of art that struck me most in my life and can't wait to see his other pieces in person and the interior of the cathedral.
