Do you use flash ? The duck stands out against the background

No flash, Armando, but specific orientation to the morning Sun
on the subject and none on the BG reflection in the water!

The usual wildlife settings where  I used the ETTL approach to protect the whites!

Nikkor Shooter, I’ve been through a few «Critique» threads of yours, and what strikes me immediately and ruins the viewing experience instantly and a whole lot is in fact your copyright symbol and text. 😊

Right Patrick… there is always something with the watermark! Does
that mean that, beside the watermark comment, the takes are not
worth any other critique?

No absolutely not! Of course their worth other critique. But I wanted to see the images on my iMac instead of my iPad, before I wrote any critique on any of them. 😊 This wasn’t critique, I just wanted to point out what I immediately saw and my opinion on the watermark. Sorry, if you misunderstood, or if I did put my words “wrong”! I’m not interested in being an ahole to anyone!! I’m in here to have a good time with people who has the same interest of photography as myself! 😊
Have a great day Nikkor Shooter! We’ll talk more later! 😊👍🙋🏻‍♂️

Watermarking has the potential of visually clouding or even destroying a published image. That is, if one cares to be annoyed. Please ignore it and concentrate on the actual image instead. I would prefer this principle to apply to any image opened for critique from now on.

"If one cares to be annoyed", it’s not like I want to be annoyed by it either Birna. But ok, if it’s not ok to tell our opinion on watermarks, so be it! ☺️😉
Did you read the PM I sent early today?? About which equipment to bring? I’ll call when I’m on the bus if I don’t hear from you! 😊🙋🏻‍♂️
See you in a few hours!!

To make it clear: neither I nor the NG admins would like a future critique based upon watermarks.

No absolutely not! Of course

Corporate clients gives me the opportunity to see many hundreds
of layout every weeks. I evaluate these pages and spreads, in ma-
ny languages that I don't understand btw, for the visual aspect of
the image behind the text. I am so used to this exercise that font
sizes and colours I can ignore for the purpose and intent.

Mind you, it is true that there is a great value in a tasteful water-
mark on a final image but the used one is simply an archival refe-
rence that is applied to "project" type of published pictures.  8)
