Estampes on the way
« on: July 17, 2015, 22:18:50 »
For the time being, Jardins sous la pluie. The photo was actually shot minutes ago in my garden (or should I say : in my late rabbit's garden - poor Wasabi passed away two months ago)

The raspberries look temptingly delicious.

He was fond of peonies (yes, the flowers) and blackcurrant leaves.

focus was on the water drops, to be true to the title. The berries would look dry. BTW the bottom right berry is in focus,

So, you took the berries and Wasabi took the leaves.  Pretty name, by the way...

I noticed the bottom berry was in focus - I think I just wanted to see more of it :)

Airy beautiful.

Akira it's not suprising you like the name Wasabi, a very Japanese taste, way too hot for me!

Certainly not anti-Erlewine. I do not have his gear, nor skills, nor patience. Above snapshot took me 10' to take (there were half a dozen attempts, with slight differences in angle and focus) and a few minutes to post-process. My 'skill' was to spot the right moment (rain and dusk), the right lens, and that's it. And -  that's the common trait with Debussy - I am not trying to depict nature. His titles were excuses rather than subjects.
