The last shot with my D500 before it all of a sudden locked up. All the classic attempts of reviving the camera have failed. It will go to the repair shop when I return to Oslo. The 810 purrs merrily along, though.

After I got home from work, about 5:30 pm, I went to the pool to watch the grandkids swim. I was wearing khakis and a black polo shirt. The heat index was 105F, about 10 minutes was all I could take. Florida summers are brutal, and green, very green.

The heat index in Tokyo was 30C (86F), but that makes no sense, because, as you know, temperature will be a lot higher on the concrete and out of the sun.
