I rally got into macro today, this with two 105mm f4.0 mounted the Birna way.
I found this on a dead branch of my Ginko Biloba tree. Might be a type of Lichen?

Yes, a lichen. Probably a Xanthoria or one of its close relatives.

In Denmark I discovered today is Mother's Day (occurring on entirely different date  from my native country), so indulged in a visit to the nearest café where I enjoyed a tasty cake and some coffee.

The café was outfitted in an irresistible colour palette :D simply had to document wih the D500 and the 50/1.2 Nikkor.

May 14.  I attended the workshop led by Itiberê Zwarg (at the piano in this image) who has been bass player for Hermeto Pascoal for decades.  Today I was just observing but tomorrow I will participate in it as fretless bass player.
