Hello From Georgia, USA
« on: April 11, 2018, 02:52:16 »
I am a retired and live in rural Georgia. I have been fascinated by photography for more than fifty years. I have recently began collecting old Nikons  and my primary artistic camera in a Nikon F4 with 50mm prime lens. I also use a number of zoom lens on my DF digital body. I like nature, street scenes and people, shoot a lot of black and white, in both the F4 and the DF. Enjoy shooting trains and in particular steam engines. Still learning, especially the digital equipment. Hope I can learn from all of you!

Welcome, you'll like it here. The DF seems to be a favourite camera among members, because it mounts the full range of old manual focus lenses. Be warned that you may find yourself acquiring more of these ... Feel free to post some pictures - there's a whole thread on trains (and boats): http://nikongear.net/revival/index.php/topic,2014.0.html

Cheers,  John
