@JKoerner007: the exif viewer tells me it was a 24-70/2.8 at 24mm.

dramatic sky, well framed, great colour and contrast. You almost managed all three primary colours too. Very nice image indeed.

That entire area, Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, is as photogenic as anyplace that I've seen, and you have done it justice.
