March 30

Lovely weather

1st shots with the d500, 35-200mm f/3.5-4.5 ais

reminds me a little of the 50-135/3.5 which seems sharper though

Yes agree, but sharpening up does wonders. The colours are lovely with the 35-200.   Reminds me also a bit of the 35-70/3.5 Ai  and Angenieux 35-70.  Out of focus at 35mm is 'special'.

Concluding  a very convenient asset, that 35-200/3.5  ;)

Living room completed so next out is my main working space. Finally managed to set up the reserve amplifier(s) to produce a nice atmosphere of sound ambience.

What's in a Naim?

Next to the Pioneer network player is an array of most of my fisheyes, back row (left-right) Sigma 4.5/2.8, Sunex 5.6/5.6, OP 10/5.6, 8/2.8; front row 7.5/5.6, 10.5/2.8, 16/2.8, 16/3.5, and the newest addition, 8-15/3.5-4.5.
Nice to see the moving is nearly completed.

Thanks Frank, Armando and Akira.

These Tulips are part of an Art-project of landscaping.  On an unused square on a busy corner a few years ago a park was developed by an artist. That included Tulips with LEDS to give some light in the evening. It was however a growing structure of Oat.

As the unused square will be built with apartments, the park and artwork will disappear on a short notice.  (extra info:  http://bijzonderebuitenruimte.nl/portfolio/goej-aord/

John, thank you for the explanation of the project.  The idea is nice and the art work looks tasteful.

Frank, this is a chic image with the orange beak as a nice accent.

Four weeks later than the last image of this subject, snow is still quite plentiful outside my house. However, now you can read the "Parking Reserved" sign, but as the parking lot itself is buried in meter-thick layers of that white substance, those waiting for s parking lot need to be patient :D

As this is the last day of March, spring continues to be a dream of the indeterminable future in my corner of the planet. Last night we had -15C.

A portrait of my daughter from earlier this month. We like to go take portraits when she is home from college.
