Poetic. But most are abstract enough that they are difficult to caption with any certainty.

#1 is Strath Fillan, #4 and #6 are Glencoe; the others remain as terra incognita - sorry!

A fascinating and interesting series from around Killin - quite different from my memories from two visits there, in warmer times of course.

Dave -  my favourites are #3 (great light and composition, trees are beautifully detailed) and #9 (dramatic). #10 could be from a different time of the year!

Simone - I particularly like #3 (I like how the sparse vegetation defines the contours) and #4 (a dramatic presentation of what could be an unremarkable hillside in summer)

Rough weather is no challenge for rough photographers it seems. I'm with Akira and Mike on the third by Simone, a strong graphic look.
"The Blackmount" by David is also very much to my liking. I must be able to visit the Highlands some time...

Mike - warmer times? It was about 3ºc all day on Saturday - doesn't get much warmer than that does it?   :)  Luckily, the rain cooled things down a bit.

LOL - in my neck of the woods we hit 30°C! last week, I'm afraid of the coming summer

beautiful series from both of you , really like the side of the mountain that looks like a close up of an ocean wave

I would be terrified. In Scotland anything over 25C is regarded as unbearable. Anyhow,I'm glad you like the pictures.

Making me green with envy!

#2 looks like a green seal pup, with added ferns!  Nose, mouth and eyes...  To me anyway...

"Island on Loch Tulla" looks great with the characteristic shapes of the trees constantly blown by the winds from a specific direction.
