First official pic with my new Df...sort of...
« on: July 07, 2015, 08:56:55 »
First lens out is the Micro-NIKKOR-P Auto 1:3.5 f=55mm. While waiting for a technician to fix our sun screens (why are they ALWAYS late??) I grabbed said combo and shot an emerging rose outside. Not the best composition I know but as I am excirra I have to show my start  :)

That 55/3.5 micro seems to be very sharp and with great bokeh!
Enjoy the Df :)

Unlike a lot of people I can actually claim that I have sought alternatives to the Df and not found it. So here I am...happy  :)

Are you selling your Fuji or are you keeping both?

Still love my a7S but am slowly looking at a Nikon DSLR to complement the a7s, I do like the Df a lot but they fall in the same category for me (high ISO, compact, etc).
Cheers,
Jan Anne

A nice and pleasant opening shot. So how do you like the Df? Why did you dump the Fuji?

I dumped the Fujis...I really tried Jan Anne, but the N was too sexy so I caved.

Gary, I guess I never took a liking to the APS-C. Fujinon lenses are really good, but the cameras are not easily operated in wet/cold weather. The buttons, wheels and covers are too delicate and small.

Thanks, although I was one of the first Df users in Norway I have since been twice in Fuji land with a D810 in between. I really enjoy having the Df in me paws again.
