Great contrast Of tones & textures between the vigorous new growth and last years decay

Thank you Colin for your comment. In reality, I put the decaying leaf there for contrast.

The good side of having missed almost 2 years is that when you come back there so much good surprises waiting. I just found this thread and it is full of delightful pictures.
