Many thanks John! - it was a gloomy November afternoon walk :) Certainly a contrast to your great sunny yellow Ginko leaves - it always lightens up in the autumn.
I once photographed a large Ginko from below the tree and it turned out to be a female tree that had shed its berries on the ground ... they contain butyric acid so a very nasty smell was released (vomit..). It took quite a while to get the smell off my boots :o
