Everest from an airplane
« on: September 22, 2017, 06:48:01 »
Today I had a very striking experience.
The sky was very overcast in Kathmandu when we took off, but some minutes later the plane passed the clouds and I had one of the most glorious views of my life.
Seeing those huge mountains coming higher than the clouds was awesome.
The plane was at 22500 ft, or 6500 ft lower than the Everest.
After that the stewardess served us a glass of wine and gave us a diploma. Well deserved.
I've never paid US$ 200 with so much joy.
The pics quality is very compromised by the window's glass, which is not what you can call optically corrected.
Thank you Yeti Airlines.

Thank you guys.
I'm glad you like it.
I'll treasure these memories forever.
BTW, I used a D5 and the 16-35mm f/4G for these pics.
