After buying the dry ice this morning, I got a call from middle daughter who had decided the grandchildrens' bedroom windows needed to be barricaded. At this late date there is no plywood available for that purpose, so we ended up using 1x6 deck boards. Not cheap, but it looks very sturdy. I'll post a picture later perhaps. Afterwards, i went to Sam's Club to get a pork shoulder to smoke so we would have some cooked meat for the next couple of days.Sam's had gas, but there was quite a line. I didn't stop. Here's a photo of the gas station at Sam's and another of my pork shoulder waiting to go on the grill. As you can tell by looking at the sky in the Sam's club photo, still no sign of Irma.
