You have a great eye for the unusual.
Just wondering if you learned anything about the plane on the pedestal?
I find them very interesting , and shoot them whenever I find them as a self-assignmentt.
This one looks like a straight-winged Panther (early 1950's Navy carrier fighter) that has been seriously cannibalized.

Robert, this plane has been there in front of that building for years.  Different types of businesses have occupied the space over that time.  I have shot it before, but was never happy with the results.  At one point, the plane's paint had severely faded over the years.  When this new business moved in, they repainted the plane and did a bit of restoration work on it.  Other than that, I have no idea how the plane wound up at the location.

The same reason it has a "Flying Tiger" shark's mouth and what is supposed to be a jet engine nacelle on the tail: overzealous customizing, by person or persons who are clueless.
