A most attractive shot with the sharp lemon-yellow daisies singing-out from the soft muted foliage.

Love the yellow on green. The buds make a nice counter point to the blossoms that draw one's eyes back.

Akira, Jakov, DNSJR and David, I appreciate your nice comments.

DSNJR: the flower is a local wildflower in Connecticut and elsewhere I suppose. However, this flower is one I got in a nursery and planted in my garden. The blooms are prolific and bloom in August. It is in the sunflower family but I agree with Ann, it looks a lot like a daisy.

I have the wild Helianthus too, but Lemon Queen looks as if she is a very superior being
