Dallas Against White Supremacy Rally - City Hall - Dallas, Texas - August 19, 2017
As in many other cities throughout the United States, a rally was held in downtown Dallas- partly to stand in solidarity with the citizens of Charlottesville and to demand removal of a Confederate Civil War memorial in Pioneer Park, which is directly across from City Hall.
This shot shows the Confederate memorial being guarded by police.
Several counter protesters confront those who want the memorial removed. The man in the left frame is shouldering a rifle.
A counter protester marches into the rally waving a Confederate battle flag. He is quickly surrounded and eventually escorted out of the rally by the police.
