Very nice, I like it. I like the detail in the trees, lower left. The moment of exposure was perfect for the water mid way don't the falls. The light on the rocks up right shows their form nicely. The tonality white to black is pretty much perfect. I hope I'm not buttering you up too much. I really like the photograph!

A beautiful image Arthur!

I wish I could see the falls in person.  Maybe one day after I retire....

I like the tonalty, croping and shutter speed, but I feel the picture is tilted. Maybe it should be rotated about 1° clockwise.
There is no illusion, it just looks that way.

There are enough tones in that image that Piezography's 8 shades of B&W inks would make it sing.

It is hard to tell. I used a relatively uniform area of the left side of the waterfall to establish a vertical line, but it certainly is far from truly uniform, so subject to error. So, you could be right.

Thank you for your kind compliment. Yellowstone is truly one of the natural wonders of the world.  A week is not nearly enough time to see it all, but I'd take a week there over a week anyplace else. I hope you get to see it soon. BTW, did you know Google Translate renders the phrase at the bottom of your post in English as "Frankie does not go to Hollywood?"

Right vs left symmetry bothers me a lot in this photo. I would have wanted to see little more rocks of the right side. To me it feels a bit too tight crop.

The color version is my favorite, particularly the green water as it passes over the edge.

A fine picture Arthur.

As it happens, I have a shot from May 1996 (off course on film then) with my very first Nikon (N70) and little zoom (Af Nikkor 35-80, 1.4-5.6 D), which both I had only a couple of days then.

Interestingly the features of the fall stayed the same since, including the green patch.
