Found this when a Printer lab was dissolved... shot fully open using a 0.7x Speedbooster on GH4

I don't know how much is you, and how much is the lens, but the simultaneous presence of depth of field on the subject and shallow overall depth of field in these shots is spectacular.
Any details on focal length and shooting aperture?

Interesting look, seems to work well for pictorial photography. Is it a short tele perhaps?

About 90mm and f4, all shot at f4. Admittedly I shoot fast lenses fully open since years now and have developed a (my) style, to guide the viewers eye using sharp-unsharp and position of objects ;-)

As mentioned above, it is about 90mm focal length, so yes, well noticed, a short tele although for a printer (= enlarger) lens, that term is uncommon and not used. It is only about the magnification and image angle.

The flowers are beautiful. But I particularly like the succulents neatly planted like "bonsai". The lab was dissolved unfortunately, but the lens resolves really well.

OT: I can't shake the *imagined* visual image of an entire photo lab dissolving in a swimming pool filled with corrosive liquid.

Thanks for posting these - I always astonished by how sharp and defined your pictures are - I think its technique rather than all lens properties... the colour, the clarity, always so clean

You also handle colors extremely well. They are very deep & rich without appearing oversaturated.

Thanks guys! There have been questions about using a speedbooster, so here some shots without,
to prove that there is rather a noticeable difference. All handheld and shot fully open, no crops...
