Amazing series, Klaus! I particularly enamored by the beautiful rainbow-colored flare. Yes, the lens is literally cinematic.
Arigato domo Akira!
Here a special one for you... (I tried to provoke that)
Very interesting, crisp.
What is exactly the difference between Projection Lenses and Cine Lenses.?
John, projection lenses were used to project movies on large screen to be viewed by an audience. Those are sharp and bright (i.e. have a low f-stop), yet have no aperture (iris) built in, nor a focusing mount.
Cine lenses are taking lenses for the production of films, have aperture (usually de-clicked) and focusing, ofter very fast lenses.
Very nice rendering, Klaus, is this Lomo 2/75 a 35mm cine-lens or a 16mm ?
Didier, this one was made for professional 35 mm motion picture cameras with up to 16 x 24 mm frame.
I also have others for 35mm and even 70mm film frame.
