Amazon.de wants EUR 225 for the latest Sony 128GB. I do not trust Sony though for no particular reason. Just emotional.

I got a whole Zoo of Sandisk Professional cards, but I do not trust Sandisk anymore after 5 out of 20 SD cards failed severely. I feel the quality of their product has declined. The early CF-cards were very good and some of the early SD cards, the later SD (and micro-SD) cards are crap. I lost data. I sent or gave them them back for refund, which was accepted.

Very fast and very reliable happen to be the SAMSUNG Pro and SAMSUNG Pro Plus SD (and micro SC) cards. Highly recommended. I bought a lot of these to replace all of the Sandisks which I do not trust anymore and only have them freshly formatted in the bag-backup, just in case I should run out of memory.

I only got one Lexar SD card (as a replacement for a failed Sandisk at the local brick & mortar) and I do not trust her at all. I only have her for a few weeks now and got several CRC errors in files I could not open after returning from shootings. It is a Lexar Professional 1000x 150MB/s SD HC UHS II.

I paid EUR 239,60 for 2 x 64 GB XQD Lexar 2933x and EUR 169,00 for 1 x 128 GB XQD. In America I paid US$172.70 for my first 128GB XQD last fall, when both of my 32GBs were full, which I bought for EUR 155,84 together in April last year.
The shuttercount of my D500 is at 44.585 this morning, so the cards can properly be described as "duely tested".

I use "Lexar professional Workflow" card readers, IMO the best in the market, although a tad on the expensive side.

I wish Memory cards were as dependable as the cameras and lenses from Nikon.
