I´m back from NYC, with a brand new converted nikon d5300 by lifepixel, 720nm infrared only camera. The service and communication with the company was excellent and got my camera on time, a couple of days before I left the city. Working with this new camera is, again, challenging. Focus adjustment is different but optimized to use with live view. Post processing like I use to do with the d80 doesn´t work at all, is a completely different beast. I´m starting to understand Bjorn´s comments about the differences filter-camera-lens makes. Just starting...

First happy mistake. Nikon d5300 with 18-55 3.5-5.6 zoom lens. Post with Photoshop and Alienskin aperture

Paco, the post-processing is spooky and original at the same time. I am looking forward to more of the same :)

18mm on a dx body. Not extreme, but still wide I think. Albaycin again.
