"zen" is a very apt title. The elements are all beautifully coordinated to give a complete feel and effect.

Thanks everyone.  Glad you like it!

When I noticed this beautiful color of the rising sun, I grabbed the camera and ran up the emergency stairs of my apartment.

The cloud in the center was moving relatively fast from the right-hand side to the left-hand side, and the sun was rising very quickly.  So, I had to move quickly.  I shot about 20 frames, but this very first frame turned out to be the best.

I reassured myself that shooting landscapes is about the timing, and the initial inspiration is precious!

Power lines, usually thought as of a negative, are a positive here.

LOL

sunrise/sunset change so quickly, I pictured myself also running for the camera and the outside to a good location , and I have missed a few

I do not have to go through emergency stairs  ;D but it is a block perhaps 100m long, I have literally ran out of the house, startling everyone, have the dog chasing behind me ... and then they realize is just another photo ...

Ron, thanks for the comment.  Indeed it is challenging to use the power lines positively.

LOL!  I want to shoot you running with the dog chasing!
